2013 Red Hat Summit Recap

Red Hat Summit 2013 was a crazy week chockfull of activities with friends, partners and customers including the first ever Red Hat 5K benefiting The One Fund. From countless hands-on labs to 10 keynotes from industry leaders, this year’s Summit proved to an exciting and data filled week yet again. See below for a recap on all the big announcements:

 

  • Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure announced. Available July 10, this subscription combines Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, Red Hat CloudForms, Red Hat OpenStack, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux server. Press release.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.2 arrives. Improvements include fully-supported storage live migration, Support for the latest Intel and AMD features, a new third-party plug-in framework, and various enhancements in storage, networking, fencing, Spice, logging, and more. Learn more.
